So, I like the 80’s.
Well what I mean to say is, I really like the 80’s. Like, like like the 80’s. If I was back in high school and the 80’s was a girl in my grade I would be a nervous mess every time she walked past me.
It’s the confident and vibrant fashion that everyone was keen to try, it’s the musicians that appreciated how cool a keytar is, it’s the movies that showed you worlds filled with time traveling deloreans, scientists catching ghosts and dancers taking on the man. Its the fact that so many people from this decade love to jump on the 80’s hate bandwagon and yell together “what were they thinking?!” with no proper knowledge or appreciation for what they’re talking about. And it’s so much more than I can explain here.
So I decided to issue myself the challenge, can I post 80 reasons for why I love the 80’s? For why i wish i was born in 1965 America? (so i could be a teen when the decade hit) Shouldn’t be too hard.
So here in no particular order over the next few whatever’s are 80 reasons why I love the 80’s.
